Police ID man who died in Genesee Township crash

Witnesses told police that Fromer was driving at a high rate of speed before losing control and going off the road into the tree.
GENESEE TWP, MI – A man critically injured in a crash Sunday has died.
Police said Joshua Keith Fromer, 29, died of injuries sustained when he crashed his Chevrolet Impala into a tree at about 7: 30 p.m. July 9 in the 7300 block of Lewis Road near Mt. Morris Road, according to Genesee Township police Lt. Robert Watters.
Driver in critical condition after vehicle slams into trees
When police arrived at the scene, they found the vehicle Fromer was driving had hit a tree on the east side of Lewis Road and he was severely injured.
Fromer, of Genesee Township, was taken to Hurley Medical Center in critical condition and later died, Watters said.
Witnesses told police that Fromer was driving at a high rate of speed before losing control and going off the road into the tree.
