In this case, cops have probable claws!
Clues in the attempted murder of an elderly Japanese woman led cops to a hair-raising suspect — a stray cat found with blood on its paw, according to a report Friday.
Mayuko Matsumoto, 82, was found bleeding in bed with 20 gashes in her face at her home in southern Japan Monday, the local radio station RKK reported .
“Blood covered everything above her chin. Her face was soaked in blood. I didn’t know what had happened,” Matsumoto’s daughter told the station, according to a translation by the Asian news network Straights Times.
Matsumoto, who was already disabled and couldn’t speak, was rushed to a hospital and survived.
