Trump’s schedule said he would depart Hickam Air Force Base on Honolulu in the afternoon, en route to Japan.
President Trump made a stop at his hotel in Hawaii on Saturday before departing on his extended trip to Asia.
« The President stopped by the Trump Hotel on his way to the airport, » said White House press secretary Sarah Sanders in a statement about the unplanned visit. « It has been a tremendously successful project and he wanted to say hello and thank you to the employee for all their hard work. »
Trump then departed Hickam Air Force Base in Honolulu, en route to Japan.
