I’m here to answer the hottest question in the internet streets these days: can you date a woman who hasn’t seen any “Star Wars” films?
You, the loyal readers, often come to me with lots of questions. Sometimes it’s funny stuff, other times it’s about sports and sometimes it’s a serious issue. I take all of them seriously. That’s why this article is being written. I’ve had multiple debates about this subject, and I think it’s time we finally put it to rest.
No. You can’t date a woman who hasn’t seen any of “Star Wars,” and isn’t willing to give them a shot. A woman who isn’t interested in trying new things in life is not somebody you want to be with, regardless of her film choice.
Look, lots of people lay awake at night pondering a variety of different questions. Some people wonder how they’re going to pay off loans, they ponder different decisions they’ve made, if they’re kids will grow up to be good people, if they should find a new job or if their significant other was the right choice.
I literally worry about none of that garbage.
I worry about what would have happened if Luke hadn’t escaped the Death Star at the end of Episode VI or if the Rebel Alliance hadn’t successfully destroyed the first Death Star in Episode IV. What type of saga would we then have had? I also occasionally wonder if Wisconsin would have won a championship with Russell Wilson if Bret Bielema wasn’t such an idiot, but that’s a subject for a different day.
Here’s the reality of a situation: nerds rule the world and women who are nerdy are hot as hell. That’s simply a fact. Every attractive woman I know has at least seen part of “Star Wars” and they’ve also almost always also seen at least part of “Indiana Jones.”
I’m not saying these women need to know every single detail of “Star Wars.” You shouldn’t cut a woman off because she doesn’t know the color of the beverage Luke drank at the start of Episode IV (blue), but what if she doesn’t know whether or not Han Solo shot first? Well, that’s probably enough to draw a line in the sand and move on.
At the end of the day we all have to make these decisions on our own. If you want to live a life of misery with some prude then that’s your choice. I’m sure you’ll have a wonderful life, but there’s a reason like people like myself — those taking over the internet — are into “Star Wars.”
Choose wisely, and good luck.
