Longtime manager of American pop rock bank Maroon 5, Jordan Feldstein, died Friday at age 40.
Dec. 23 (UPI) — Jordan Feldstein, longtime manager of American pop rock bank Maroon 5 and brother of actor Jonah Hill, died Friday at age 40.
A statement from Feldstein’s family said he had shortness of breath and called 911. By the time emergency crews arrived he had gone into cardiac arrest and passed away shortly thereafter.
« His family asks for privacy during this difficult and unexpected time, » the statement said. « In lieu of food and flowers, the family will announce a charity in the coming weeks where memorial donations can be made in Jordan’s name. »
Feldstein, founder and chief executive of Career Artist Management, had managed Maroon 5 since its inception 15 years ago. Under his direction Maroon 5 received three Grammy Awards and sold 20 million albums worldwide.
Other clients of Feldstein’s company incude The B-52s, Elle King and Rick Springfield. He also negotiated Maroon 5’s Adam Levine ‘s coach role on NBC’s The Voice.
Feldstein is survived by his sister, parents and two children.
