Superhot is expanding. Its first standalone expansion, Mind Control Delete, is entering Early Access on Steam later this month, with a full release coming in late 2018.

Superhot is a unique first-person shooter where time only goes forward if you’re moving. This gives you the ability to freeze enemies, bullets, and more by standing still, making it possible to plan your actions and setup action movie-like sequences. The original Superhot came out for PC in February 2016, with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions following that year. The shooter also had a virtual reality release. The game has had over 600,000 players on Steam, according to SteamSpy.
Mind Control Delete is only coming to PC for now. It introduces a roguelike twist to the original.
“Each challenge will make you more powerful and bring you closer to deciphering the secrets hidden from you by the system,” the expansion’s Steam page details. “As you unlock powerful abilities and gain access to new playable characters, so will your enemies grow stronger, smarter and more desperate to stop you.”
The Early Access version won’t include any story content, but it will give you an opportunity to try new levels and the procedural roguelike generation.
