Wednesday snowstorm brings snow right at the wrong time

Here’s a breakdown of when the snow hits hardest across Michigan.
Snow should increase in intensity between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Wednesday. Above is the snowfall total expected by 5 p.m. Wednesday. Detroit, Ann Arbor, Flint, Saginaw and Bay City will only have around 2″ of snow by 5 p.m., but the snow will be coming down at a moderate clip. Snow totals of 4″ to 5″ will be common through central Lower west to Muskegon, Ludington and Manistee. Grand Rapids could have a few inches by 5 p.m., but Kalamazoo and far southwest Michigan will have less snow.
