The new Motorola Moto X4 should be faster than the 2017 model, possibly thanks to 6 GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 636 processor…
While Motorola isn’t confirming this, additional sources have it that the Moto X4 2018 should feature 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage space. A superior processor ( Snapdragon 636 instead of Snapdragon 630) could also be on board. Depending on market, the current X4 offers 3 GB of RAM paired with 32 GB of storage space, or 4 GB of RAM paired with 64 GB of storage space. Thus, the new Moto X4 should bring a RAM boost of at least 2 GB – enough to make it faster.
The « all new Moto X4 », as Motorola is calling it, will go on sale in India on February 1, for a price that isn’t known yet. It’s not clear if the upgraded smartphone will also be released in the US, but we don’t see why it shouldn’t.
As previously reported, a mysterious Motorola Moto X5 may also be in the making, although this will probably not be available before the second half of 2018.
