At least 10 people were killed and dozens injured as a result of an explosion in Afghan capital of Kabul on Saturday, the Russian Embassy in Afghanistan told Sputnik Saturday.
« According to the preliminary information at least 10 people were killed and 50 more injured… No information about Russian citizens injured in the explosion was provided, » a spokesman for the embassy said.
According to media reports, the number of injured has reached 79.
Earlier in the day, a massive explosion hit the Afghan capital after a bomb-laden car detonated near the old building of country’s Interior Ministry.
The emergency vehicles reportedly rushed to the scene.
