Mike Trout says his Angels teammates are also rooting against Tom Brady.
Angels star Mike Trout shared his Super Bowl prediction on a conference call with reporters on Tuesday. The Eagles fan unsurprisingly chose his team to win over the New England Patriots, and he added that it’ll be a late interception by Tom Brady that seals the deal.

It’s quite the prediction, though he also said that it won’t be easy for the Eagles. Per PennLive:
« It’s going to be tough, » Trout said. « Obviously, anybody that goes against Tom Brady, he’s the best and greatest of all-time. Growing up watching him, last year’s Super Bowl, and I still think the Eagles are going to pull one out. »
And Trout isn’t the only one on the Angels rooting for the Eagles to win. His teammates are joining him because they want Brady to lose.

However, while Trout really, really wants the Eagles to win Super Bowl 52, he wouldn’t compare it to reaching the World Series.
Mike Trout declined to answer a question about whether he’d rather see the Eagles win the Super Bowl or have the Angels reach the World Series and lose.
Super Bowl 52 will air on NBC on Sunday, Feb. 4, at 6:30 p.m. ET.
Trout hasn’t decided if he’ll be at U. S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis for the big game. He told reporters he might stay at home with family and friends. Plus, he enjoys watching the commercials.
