After launching the mid-level Galaxy Tab A 2017, Samsung has launched the budget Galaxy Tab A 7.0 in India at a price of Rs 9,500. The Galaxy Tab A 7.0 will be available for buying from physical retail stores from January 5 from offline stores and online from Amazon India in as many as two colours: White and Black. Reliance Jio users can avail Rs 2,000 cashback and get the Galaxy Tab A 7.0 for cheaper still, Samsung has further announced.
The Galaxy Tab A 7.0 has been designed for « non-stop entertainment » according to Samsung which is why it comes with a massive 4,000mAh battery on the inside that is claimed to offer up to 9 hours of video playback on single charge. The 7-inch Galaxy Tab A 7.0 comes with an HD resolution and a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor with 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage which is expandable by up to 200GB via a micro-SD.

Samsung, in October, launched the mid-level Galaxy Tab A 2017 for Rs 17,990. It comes with an 8-inch display and a 1.4GHz quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 256GB via a micro-SD card slot.
One of the biggest highlights of the Galaxy Tab A 2017 is Bixby Home support that brings Samsung’s AI assistant to the mid-range tablet. Elsewhere, the Galaxy Tab A 7.0 is backed by a massive 5,000mAh battery.
The Galaxy Tab A 2017 sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture.
