Trump Calls U. S. Court System 'Broken and Unfair' After DACA Ruling

A judge ruled Tuesday night that the Trump administration has to keep DACA intact.
President Donald Trump lashed out at the American court system on Wednesday, calling it « broken and unfair » on Twitter, following a United States District Court in San Francisco judge’s ruling that the White House could not follow through on plans to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.
« It just shows everyone how broken and unfair our Court System is when the opposing side in a case (such as DACA) always runs to the 9th Circuit, » Trump wrote, « and almost always wins before being reversed by higher courts. »
Late Tuesday night, Judge William Alsup ordered the administration to « maintain the DACA program on a nationwide basis. »
The program allows foreign minors who came to the U. S. as children to apply for a two-year deportation deferral and work visa, subject to renewal; it affects about 800,000 people.
