The company in past had released a picture that hinted of a device coming on March 27 in Paris and now it has confirmed.
Huawei, on its Twitter page, has once again shared the same picture but this time with the name of Huawei P20 on it. Thus, confirming that Huawei P20 is launching on March 27 at an event in Paris.
Huawei is planning to launch its P20 series of phone this year which includes P20, P20 Lite and P20 Plus. The phones have been exposed to several leaks and rumours in past. Huawei P20 is going to succeed the P10 and is expected to come with triple cameras on the back. Leaked images in past show that P20 could have a horizontal camera set up whereas the Pro and Plus could have a vertical camera set up.

P20 and P20 Lite are expected to sports similar designs. P20 Plus, on the other hand, is rumoured to come with a higher screen to body ratio and iPhone X like notch.
There are talks that Huawei P20 and P20 Plus will be powered by AI based on Kirin 970 processor whereas Lite could come with a more powerful processor- Kirin 975. It is the same processor that powers Huawei V10 and Huawei Mate 10 series. All the three Huawei phones are expected to come with 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
One of the other big rumours about Huawei P20 Plus that we’ve heard so far is that it will be backed by a massive 4,000mAh battery and an Always on Display feature. This is bigger than the 3,320mAh battery rumoured for the P20. The Plus variant is also rumoured to come with bigger storage and memory than the base variant.
About the Always on Display, this feature was previously seen in Huawei Mate 10 Pro, company’s first flagship to come with an OLED display. We can expect the P20 Plus also come to come with OLED panel but nothing is confirmed as of now. All the three phones are expected to sports edge-to-edge display and run Android Oreo based EMUI.
