Olympic freestyle skier Gus Kenworthy loves his Team USA teammates — but the same can’t be said about his feelings for Ivanka Trump.
The 26-year-old took a dig at the first daughter Sunday with a tweet that questioned Trump’s presence at the closing ceremonies in Pyeongchang.
« So proud of all these people! Everybody here has worked so hard to make it to the Olympics and have the opportunity to walk in the closing ceremony! » he wrote on Twitter.
« Well… Everyone except Ivanka. Honestly, tf is she doing here?? »
Trump, a senior adviser to her father, arrived in South Korea Friday for a four-day trip. During her trip — which she said she made in order to reaffirm America’s commitment « to a maximum pressure campaign to ensure that the Korean Peninsula is denuclearized » — she headed the U. S. delegation at the Olympics closing ceremony, and had dinner with South Korean President Moon Jae-in.
« We cannot have a better, or smarter, person representing our country, » President Trump tweeted Thursday.
Kenworthy, meanwhile, placed 12th in the slopestyle final, but still emerged a fan favorite.
He previously threw shade at President Trump Sunday with a tweet calling Russia’s win in hockey over Germany the country’s « biggest win since the 2016 US Presidential election! »
