It’s time for another Community Day, along with Kyogre and Groudon joining Rayquaza for a Legendary week of Raid Battles in Pokemon GO.
Pokemon GO Legendary Week kicks off today ahead of tomorrow’s Pokemon GO Community Day.
From today through March 5, Groudon and Kyogre are being brought back to Raid Battles alongside Rayquaza around the world.
Pokemon GO Legendary Week also includes a global challenge where if Trainers defeat Rayquaza more than both Kyogre and Groudon, they’ll receive special rewards.
If Rayquaza is defeated more than Kyogre and Groudon combined, Pokemon that typically prefer windy weather like Bagon, are more likely to hatch from Eggs from March 5 to March 16. If not, Pokemon that prefer sunny or rainy weather like Trapinch or Lotad are more likely to hatch.
Since these battles aren’t easy by any means, there will be special boxes available starting Saturday, February 24 containing Raid Passes.
Saturday, February 24 is also the second Pokemon GO Community Day which will last three hours around the world. Expect increased spawns for Dragon Pokemon Dratini.
Players who evolve Dratini’s evolved form, Dragonair, into Dragonite during this period will obtain a Dragonite with the rare and powerful move, Draco Meteor.
The first Pokemon GO Community Day took place on January 20. This monthly event provides players with the opportunity to meet up with other players in their local parks.
Pokemon GO Community Day events take place during the following times: Asia-Pacific region: 12pm – 3pm JST Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India: from 10am – 1pm UTC (GMT +0) The Americas and Greenland: from 11am – 2pm PST (2pm – 5pm EST) (GMT -8)
Each month, a special Pokemon will appear frequently around the world for just a few hours. Pikachu was the inaugural Pokemon with exclusive event move Surf.
On Community Day tomorrow, players will also see increased Stardust, and Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
Speaking of Legendary Pokemon, if you are a Sun and Moon player, or Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon player, don’t forget about the Legendary Pokemon Regigigas and Heatran distribution kicking off on March 1. Grab details through the link.
