Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will take a carriage ride through Windsor after tying the knot at St. George’s Chapel.
Feb. 12 (UPI) — Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are sharing new details about their highly-anticipated royal wedding.
Kensington Palace said in a series of tweets Sunday that the service will begin at 12 p.m. GMT, or 7 a.m. EST, May 19 at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in Windsor, England.
« The Dean of Windsor will conduct the service and The Archbishop of Canterbury will officiate as the couple make their vows, » the palace wrote .
Prince Harry and Markle will take a carriage ride through Windsor after tying the knot. The procession, which begins at 8 a.m. EST, will take the couple through Windsor Town before returning to Windsor Castle along the Long Walk.
« They hope this short journey will provide an opportunity for more people to come together around Windsor and to enjoy the atmosphere of this special day, » the palace said .
Prince Harry and Markle will then celebrate with their guests at a reception at St. George’s Hall. Prince Harry’s father, Prince Charles, will host a private evening reception for the couple and their close friends and family.
« They are looking forward to the day and to being able to share their celebrations with the public, » the palace said .
Prince Harry and Markle got engaged in November after more than a year of dating. The pair attended their first award ceremony as a couple this month, stepping out to the Endeavor Fund Awards in London.
