Samsung has sent out media invites for an event on March 6 in India, which is highly anticipated to be the launch the new Galaxy S9 duo. Both the new smartphones are currently up for pre-booking on Samsung’s India e-store.
Amazon India today quietly rolled out its subscription-based music streaming service in the country. Amazon Music is part of the Amazon Prime membership, and will give users access to the global library. It is available on across iOS, Android, and the web platform. OnePlus 6 was recently leaked in an image, which showed off a very iPhone X-like design. The smartphone also resembles the Galaxy S9 duo with the placement of the dual-camera setup at the back. Besides the design and a few specifications, most details regarding the OnePlus 6 remains unknown at this point in time but the company typically launches its first flagship of the year sometime around June. Reliance JioPhone is reportedly strategizing a little extra focus on the rural areas of the country. The company has already set up an assembly facility in Chennai, and another one in Tirupati is underway, which is planned to comes up in 12 months. BSNL has rolled out a new Rs 448 prepaid plan, which offers unlimited voice calls, and 1GB data per day. The plan also offers 100 SMS per day, and a validity of 84 days. The plan is available across all BSNL telecom circles in India. It compete with Reliance Jio’s Rs 449 pack, which offers 1.5GB daily data, unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS messages per day with a validity of 91 days.
