Xiaomi’s new express delivery option is eligible only on prepaid orders and currently limited to select eligible devices.
Xiaomi has announced its new Express Delivery service, which is currently exclusive to customers in Bengaluru. The company promises to deliver orders on the same day they are placed and without any additional charges. However, the service is limited to select pin codes in the city and on an order consisting of only one eligible product.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Redmi 4, Mi Max 2, Redmi Y1, Redmi 5A, and the Mi A1 are eligible for the company’s Express Delivery service. The smartphone manufacturer notes that the Express Delivery Services will only be applicable on prepaid orders and for purchases made via mi.com and on the Mi Store app. The option is not valid for Cash On Delivery orders. Customers buying Xiaomi devices in Bengaluru need to place orders between 9AM and 4:30PM to avail the express delivery service and the same will not be available on Sundays.
In order to use the new Delivery method on the Mi website, a customer needs to add an eligible item to their cart. If their order fulfills the aforementioned criteria, they will be able to select the ‘Express Delivery’ option while checking out. On the Mi Store app, the service will be displayed on the Place Order page.
Xiaomi recently launched some new services for their customers in India. The company recently announced its WhatsApp based Mi Bunny service for Indian consumers, using which, one can receive the company’s product deals, new product launch news, sale reminders, and more. They can also raise customer support requests via the service.
The smartphone manufacturer also announced partnering with Smartbox to offer a new smart delivery option on products which have been purchased via its own ecommerce platform. The service is currently available in Delhi NCR and users can pick up their delivery from one of the many digital parcel lockers across the region. The digital locker can be accessed via a unique OTP within 72 hours, as per their convenience. The smart delivery service will soon be made available in other parts of the country.
