Detective Pikachu leads this week’s roster of Nintendo eShop releases for the Nintendo Switch, 3DS, and Wii U.
Proving that there’s life in the old dog yet, a 3DS game is this week’s Nintendo eShop highlight. Detective Pikachu comes to the West two years after its Japanese debut, and promises a Pokémon adventure quite unlike any we’ve played before.
The rather fantastic – and also rather large – Detective Pikachu amiibo is also released day-and-date .
Over on the Nintendo Switch, this week’s releases include a port of the popular mobile and PC space combat game, Manticore: Galaxy on Fire, and anime hack ’n’ slash sequel, Attack on Titan 2 .
Also worth a look is Shantae and Pirate’s Curse, from the ever-reliable WayForward Technologies. And if you like, erm, synchronised swimming, Lozange Lab’s delightful puzzle game, Swim Out, should make a splash in your video game library.
