Samsung may be planning on expanding its Galaxy A smartphone series by launching these two smartphones this year.
Samsung recently released the Galaxy A8 and A8 Plus smartphones this year which come with 18:9 aspect ratio display and Exynos processor. These smartphones are going to be the third and fourth smartphone in the A series from Samsung this year.
The benchmark results suggest that the Galaxy A6 smartphone will be powered by an Exynos processor and the Galaxy A6 Plus will be powered by the Snapdragon 625 processor. The benchmark also reveals that the smartphones are running the latest version of Android which is Android 8.0 Oreo with the Samsung Experience UI on top.
The Samsung Galaxy A6 which has a model number as SM-A600FN will be powered by an Exynos 7870 SoC with 3GB RAM. The Galaxy A6 achieved a single core score of 723 and a multi-core score of 3605 which is a sub-par score for a mid-range smartphone.
The Galaxy A6 Plus model comes with the model number SM-A605G and will be powered by a Snapdragon 625 chipset with 4GB RAM and run on Android 8.0 Oreo.
