The actors announced their split on social media late Monday after eight years of marriage.

Channing Tatum and his wife Jenna Dewan have announced their separation.
Tatum, 37, and Dewan, 37, announced their split in joint Instagram statements Monday night.
« We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple, » the statement read. « We fell deeply in love so many years ago and have had a magical journey together. »
They clarified that there were no « salacious events » that broke them up.
« We are still a family and will always be loving dedicated parents to Everly. We won’t be commenting beyond this, and we thank you all in advance for respecting our family’s privacy. »
The couple first met on the set of the 2006 dance movie « Step Up » and technically had their first kiss on set. They tied the knot in July 2009 in a Malibu ceremony and welcomed daughter Everly Elizabeth Maiselle in May 2013.
After their daughter was born, Tatum took to his Instagram to praise his wife.
« She has such deep strength and other worldly grace, » he wrote. « Watching her in those first days transform into a mother was life changing. She was every bit the beautiful, sexy, funny, flawed creature I fell in love with. But the prism turned and showed a whole new light that I had no idea existed, the light of a mothers love. Thank you for that baby. »
They were known for their sense of humor and competed against each other in a memorable episode of » Lip Sync Battle . »
Tatum shared the last photo of the couple together March 18. It featured the two of them with painted faces.
« This is what it looks like when a little tyrant fairy artist holds you down and makes your face look ‘better,' » he wrote.
