Samsung launches Galaxy S9 128 GB and 256 GB in the US

The 128 GB and 256 GB Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ will be released stateside in May for reasonable prices…
The new Galaxy S9 and S9+ models will properly go on sale on May 18, exclusively at Samsung, so it doesn’t look like any carrier has plans to sell them. The smartphones will be offered unlocked, with three color options available: Midnight Black, Lilac Purple, and Coral Blue. Here are the new handsets’ prices:
From May 1 through May 17, folks who pre-order any Galaxy S9 or S9+ will be able to get a Gear IconX (2018) for free, or a Gear S3 Frontier smartwatch for just $99.99.
Apart from the extra storage space, the upcoming Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ won’t differ from the 64 GB variants that have been available to buy since March (for $719.99 and $839.99, respectively). All in all, if you want to double the storage space on either Galaxy S9 smartphone, you’ll be paying an extra $50 – we’d say that’s pretty reasonable.
