A military parachute was found on a tennis court at a junior high school in Tokyo’s Hamura City on Tuesday.
The US military says the parachute fell during a parachute training exercise. Japan’s Defense Ministry says it received a report from the city that a student found the unfolded US military parachute on the tennis court of Hamura No. 3 Junior High School at around 4:50 PM. The parachute is about 3 meters long. No damage or injuries have been reported.
