This time, the Battle Pass includes seven brand-new skins
We’re just a few hours away from the end of Fortnite Battle Royale ’s third season and now that everyone is running around with their John Wick skins, it’s time to look ahead at what cosmetics the Fortnite Season 4 Battle Pass will bring.
As Epic Games has been teasing for the past week, the next Battle Pass will feature superhero-themed skins and other cosmetics. The cosmetics available in the pass include a whole bunch of new skins, including Valor which is sure to be a fan favorite.
Like Season 3’s pass, Season 4’s will include 100 tiers of rewards that can be unlocked by playing the game and completing challenges. Thankfully, there will still be a few rewards available for those who don’t want to throw down 950 V-Bucks ($9.50) to unlock the Season 4 Battle Pass.
Every player who logs in after Season 4 of Fortnite starts will get a free version of the Battle Pass complete with 10 levels’ worth of goodies to unlock. And if you decide to upgrade your pass down the road, any progress you make on the free pass will carry over once you buy the full Battle Pass.
While unlocking rewards by leveling up the Battle Pass is the main way to get this season’s rewards, Epic is going to once again offer players another way to get their hands on this season’s newest skins. Epic will sell Tier upgrades for the Battle Pass on the Fortnite Battle Royale store for 150 V-Bucks each, meaning it would cost around $150 to unlock all 100 tiers. Also on offer from Epic is a version of the Battle Pass that costs 2,800 V-Bucks ($28.00) and comes with the first 25 tiers already unlocked.
The Fortnite Season 4 Battle Pass will go live May 1, as soon as the servers are back from patch maintenance. The next season will likely run for a few months, which should give players plenty of time to pick up all 100 tiers of reward including the new final skin, Omega.
