NEW DELHI: Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi launched two smartphones earlier this year — the Redmi Note 5 and the Redmi Note 5 Pro. Both the smartphones fall under the budget price segment and the Indian e-commerce giant Flipkart is offering an interesting discount on them. Flipkart is offering both the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and the Redmi Note 5 Pro at a price of just Rs 999.
Both the smartphones are listed on the e-tailer’s website with various offers and one such offer is of exchange. The company is giving an exchange of Rs 11,000 on both the handsets.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 comes in two variants 64GB and 32GB priced at Rs 11,999 and 9,999 respectively. The company is giving is an exchange offer of Rs 11,000 on the 64GB version making the price Rs 999, and Rs 9000 exchange on 32GB variant bringing down the price to 999. However, in order to avail the complete exchange amount you should have the right device for exchange.
Along with this, the Axis bank Buzz credit card holders can get 5% discount and there is also a monthly EMI option starting Rs 582 per month.
On the other hand, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro comes in 64GB version and is priced at Rs 14,999. Flipkart is giving an exchange offer of Rs 14,000 on the smartphone. After the exchange offer the customers can get the smartphone at an effective price of Rs 999. Along with the exchange offer the e-tailer is giving 5% discount to Axis bank buzz credit card holders and EMI option starting at Rs 728 per month.
Apart from the above mentioned offers on Flipkart, the telecom operator Reliance Jio is giving cashback of Rs 2,200 on the purchase of Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro. The cashback will be available in the form of 44 vouchers with value of Rs 50 each. The vouchers will be credited directly to the MyJio app after the first recharge of Rs 198 or Rs 299 plan. The customers can redeem the vouchers for future recharges.
