Ariana Grande is drawing all the attention! The 24-year-old pop star hasn’t confirmed her quick engagement to Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson, but the couple, who are making headlines, is at least opened up about their shocking engagement on Instagram.
The comedian and actor shared a picture on Instagram on June 15, Friday, featuring his and Grande’s hands and feet intertwined, with a massive diamond engagement ring on display. The 24-year-old wrote, “U know what you’d dream it be like?” He added, “It’s better than that.”
Grande commented on the photo, she wrote, “So much better,” the songstress also added a heart emoji and a cloud emoji.
The couple’s Instagram romance came hours after Davidson and Grande’s appearance at the 2018 Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction & Awards Dinner in New York City on June 14, Thursday. Grande took Twitter earlier Friday and wrote, “i cant believe my life rn tbh if i’m dreaming pls knock me the f–k back out.”
Several sources told Us Weekly about Grande and Davidson’s engagement on June 11, Monday, weeks after the news of the couple’s relationship broke. A source told Us, “They are a perfect fit.” The source added, “They are not rushing to get married. Their friends are really excited and supportive.”
Many fans are celebrating the couple’s engagement, including Jennette McCurdy, who is Grande’s former Sam & Cat co-star. McCurdy told Entertainment Tonight, “I’m super proud of her and excited for her. I hope that she’s super happy.” The 25-year-old added, “They seem like they’re a great fit. From what I know of her, he seems like exactly a good person for her.”
