Duterte wanted to meet and greet the Filipino passengers on board the commercial flight from Seoul, but was unable to because he was in pain.
MANILA—President Rodrigo Duterte arrived in Manila late Tuesday night following his 3-day visit in South Korea, and he said he vomited during the flight home because of migraine.
« You know, I puked in the . because of pain, » Duterte said during a press conference at NAIA upon landing.
« That’s why I wasn’t able to go around the plane. Kukumustahin ko sana ‘yung mga mostly Filipino passengers. »
Duterte, who took a commercial plane from Seoul, instead asked Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque to apologize to the Filipino passengers.
« I had to ask senior Roque to apologize in behalf of me na gusto kung umikot para lang . .. Most of them are OFWs, » he said.
Duterte acknowledged previously that he has several health problems.
But Malacañang has dismissed the ailments as nothing serious.
