“Imposters” will air its series finale next week, as Bravo has decided to cancel the original scripted drama after a two-season run, the NBCUniversal-owned cable network told TheWrap on Friday.
From executive producers Adam Brooks (“Definitely Maybe,” “Mozart in the Jungle”) and Paul Adelstein (“Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce,” “Chance”), the series follows a persona-shifting con artist (Inbar Lavi) and her three most recent victims (Rob Heaps, Parker Young and Marianne Rendón). The trio teams up to chase the woman down and, along the way, learn the art of the con themselves, becoming embroiled in a cat and mouse game with the grifter, her mysterious boss and the FBI.
“Imposters” 10-episode sophomore season premiered in April.

The news of the Universal Cable Productions show’s cancellation comes just as Bravo’s first scripted original series, the Adelstein-led “Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce,” will end with its fifth season on June 14.
Last month, the network announced it had ordered eight new series ( one being “Real Housewives of the 1960s”), in addition to its previous pickups of 11 fresh and 20 returning shows, including the homecoming of Bravo’s “Project Runway,” following its decision to air original programming on Saturday nights for the first time.
