From the past few days, OPPO has been confirming certain details about its upcoming Find X smartphone. Now, with just two days remaining for the official launch of the handset, OPPO has given us our first look at the Find X. The Chinese smartphone maker has posted a teaser on its official Weibo page, revealing the design of the smartphone, which happens to be similar to the Vivo NEX S. Teaser revealed by OPPO yesterday had shown us an atypical notch on the Find X, but that doesn’t seem to be the case now, if we have a look at the new image posted by OPPO.
Along with the phone’s image, OPPO is also asking users to guess the Screen-to-body ratio of the Find X. The picture is insisting a number 9 at the start, which does mean that the phone will surely come with more than 90% Screen-to-body ratio. As mentioned above, the device in the picture looks similar to the Vivo NEX S and as such it could also offer a Pop-up selfie camera. However, there is a chance that the phone might sport a rotating selfie camera, similar to that of the OPPO N1. Popular Weibo leakster had exposed the patent schematics for the rotating camera, which OPPO had filed for using in its smartphones, and the Find X might feature the same.
As far as the rumoured specifications of the Find X go, it is believed to feature a 6.4-inch display that might come with 2340×1080 pixels resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone is considered to use Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line Snapdragon 845 SoC. The handset might ship either with 6GB/8GB of RAM along with 64GB or 128GB internal storage. On the software front, the phone is believed to run Android 8.1 Oreo-based Color OS 5.1 out of the box.
In terms of imaging, it is supposed to feature a dual camera setup that might consist of a 20-megapixel and a 16-megapixel sensors. On the other hand, at the front, the Find X might sport a 25MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone is said to be fueled by a 3730mAh battery that no doubt will have fast charging support. Previous leaks had indicated that the smartphone will be available in Bordeaux Red and Glacier Blue colour options.
With just two days remaining for the official launch of the smartphone, it is just a matter of time before we start seeing the handset in its full glory along with the detailed specifications. We recommend you to stay tuned with us, as we will covering the live updates of the event, which is happening on June 19.
