The executive producer of the film “Roe v. Wade” says some of the cast and crew are walking off the set because of the movie’s pro-life message.
Dr. Alveda King, niece of slain civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., was on “ Fox & Friends ” Thursday morning to discuss the film, which she says is “just wanting to educate the public… it’s all facts — no fake news.”

King says their liberal forces have organized to try to stop the film from being produced: “Folks that are inside the set — inside the project — are getting pressure from Hollywood and from outside. They don’t want the truth to come out … the cast and crew are getting rattled.”
Big-name stars like Stacey Dash and John Voight are sticking to the project, which King says is an effort to tell the story of Dr. Mildred Jefferson, the first African-American woman to graduate from the Harvard Medical School and a pro-life advocate.
King says the Supreme Court’s landmark decision on Roe v. Wade, which legalized abortion in America, came as a result of information that was “twisted and turned around,” resulting in “not enough true information.”
When asked if she thinks the opposition to the film is being influenced by the probability that President Donald Trump will nominate another pro-life conservative to the Supreme Court, King notes that the conversation has reached a fevered pitch, with some people saying, “We won’t be able to get an abortion tomorrow if this movie comes out.”
