Halo Infinite Will Not Have A Battle Royale Mode, 343 Industries Confirms

Jeff Easterling of 343 Industries has confirmed that they are not going to follow any trends by not having a Battle Royale mode in Halo Infinite.
Halo Infinite was announced at E3 2018 and it’s the sixth Halo game for which everyone has been waiting for a very long time now. Battle Royale mode is the most famous genre currently and there were rumors that it will make its way to Halo but 343 Industries has officially denied it.
Jeff Easterling of 343 Industries was a part of a recent Halo Infinite live stream on Mixer where he confirmed that the upcoming Halo game will not have a Battle Royale mode. 343 Industries is not planning to take on any trends by following Battle Royale.
Halo Infinite stream was broadcasted on Mixer which is a streaming platform similar to Twitch and if you skip to 55:55, you will witness the confirmation by yourself.
It also comes a good news for the fans who want the developers to work and focus on the campaign of the game unlike Black Ops 4 which has replaced its campaign mode with Battle Royale mode this year.
Since the reveal at E3, people have been also guessing that it will be a spin-off or a prequel but Microsoft has officially confirmed that Halo 6 will follow the adventures of Master chief after the events of Halo 5.
Chris Lee also went on to confirm that Halo 6 will have i t’s primarily focus set on Master chief instead of Jameson Locke in Halo 5 which received a lot of criticism.
The trailer showed at E3,2018 was an engine demo and it’s not the actual game in case you are wondering. Halo 6 is being developed by using the Slipspace Engine and the trailer showed us how well it can render game effects and other assets.
Halo Infinite is a first-person shooter game being developed by 343 Industries and will release exclusively for Xbox One.
