Rudy Giuliani called President Donald Trump’s former attorney Michael Cohen a “pariah” on “The Ingraham Angle” Tuesday night and predicted he will be disbarred for taping his client.
CNN released a recording Tuesday evening that Cohen made of the president discussing possible payments to playboy model Karen McDougal. (RELATED: Alan Dershowitz Defends Trump After CNN Drops Cohen Tape: No Crime)
Ingraham asked Giuliani if he was concerned about attorney Lanny Davis choosing to represent Cohen because of Davis’ strong ties to the Clintons. Giuliani shrugged it off and placed the blame squarely on Cohen.

“Not at all. I don’t have any concerns about that,” he replied. “[Davis] is a lawyer. He has the right to represent who he wants. I question the strategy of doing this. Of trying to make a tape say what it doesn’t say. Or of putting out a tape in which you are kind of proud of the fact that you are a lawyer, putting out a tape of your client.”
Giuliani also questioned Cohen’s credibility in cooperating with the federal government and said he’s become persona non grata in the legal community.
“And then thinking you can cooperate with the government. You know to cooperate with the government you’ve got to have credibility. First thing that happens is, this guy’s going to be disbarred,” he concluded. “I mean it’s ridiculous. He’s a pariah to the legal profession.”
