The Android P is the ninth iteration of Android OS from Google. It comes with some subtle variations like gesture support, adaptive battery and brightness.

Google’s ninth iteration of Android — the Android P ( overview) — was teased earlier this year at the company’s I/O event. Since then, the OS has been running in the form of beta to give users and developers a taste of the new features ahead of the final official release. Just last month, Google rolled out the final preview version (beta 4) of Android P, which means we are close to seeing the proper build of the upcoming build.
Most likely, Google may also reveal the official name for the Android 9.0. The search engine giant is in practice to name its smartphone software after a dessert, like last year it named Android 8 as Oreo.
