Fox News host Ainsley Earhardt incorrectly said Thursday that the U. S. defeated « communist Japan » in World War II as she defended America’s greatness.
« We defeated communist Japan, » Earhardt said on « Fox & Friends, » responding to New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) saying America « was never that great » a day prior. Japan has never been communist and was under imperial rule during World War II.
« We’re the most generous country in all of the world, » she said. « Yes, we have our faults, but because of this country, this world is definitely a better place. We are great. »
Fellow « Fox & Friends » host Steve Doocy appeared to correct Earhardt by saying that the U.
