HOLLAND, MI – Rescuers are responding to a report that a man swam into a Lake Macatawa drain and has not surfaced.
The man had been missing for 15 minutes when a caller notified authorities just before 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7.
The drain is near South Shore Drive at Azalea Street on the city’s south side.
Dispatchers reported that a water rescue is in process.
