The new Nvidia RTX family of GPUs are launching at a price high enough to surprise long-time fans. But those looking to save a chunk of change know to go for RTX 2080 preorders that fall outside of Nvidia’s own Founders Edition cards. PNY, EVGA, and more are ready for your cash.
RTX 2080 preorders are already live; and we don’t just mean the more expensive Founders Edition from Nvidia. The RTX family is set to make a big splash when it arrives later next month thanks to its ray tracing tech that’s been 10 years in the making. We don’t expect these cards to magically bring 200% FPS gains over the previous generation Pascal cards, but we do know that you’ll be able to snag one at a much cheaper price looking for RTX 2080 preorders that fall outside of Nvidia’s own website.
Nvidia made sure to not mention a single one of these during its presentation, but they certainly do exist. Asus, MSI, and EVGA are all popular picks, but there are a few other vendors already in the RTX 2080 preorder business. We know each PC builder has a preference when it comes to GPU vendors, so we’ll split each vendor up down below.
Asus
Zotac
PNY
EVGA
MSI
Gigabyte

Even still, if you’re just looking to get on the list and pull out if things are looking too dicey, there’s no harm in trying. No doubt we’ll see more fanciful cooler designs down the line, but so far, it’s only ASUS going with the blower shroud compact system builders would typically look for.
