Apple iOS 12.1 confirms new iPads are on the way

The leaks and rumours have pointed towards the existence of the two large screen devices but this time Apple has indirectly confirmed their arrival. Apple has started rolling out iOS 12.1 Beta to those in the program and seems to have carelessly left the phrase ‘iPad2018Fall’ accessible inside the assets used by the Setup app. The previous identifiers, as reported by 9to5 Google only talked about 2018 iPhones. The iPad reference in the app clearly reveals that the app is being worked upon to play well with the new iPad devices.
There have been several leaks and rumours that have recently pointed out towards the launch of new iPad devices. One of this is the landscape mode for FaceID, new icons and syncing of Memojis. It is not for sure when exactly Apple will launch these new devices but I the history is any indication, there should be another event coming in October.
Apple couple of days ago launched iOS 12 to all the compatible iPhone and iPad devices. The OS version, as explained during WWDC 2018 conference, come with new features. The OS version is now faster is it is claimed to have up to 70% faster swipe to Camera, up to 50% faster keyboard display and double the speed of app launch under heavy working conditions.
The latest iPhones, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR come with iOS 12 out of the box, while other eligible devices get it as an update over the air.
