Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh revealed in an interview on Monday night that he remained a virgin in high school and for “many years after.”
Kavanaugh was denying the sexual assault allegations against him on Fox News when he claimed to never have sex or “anything close to sexual intercourse” while in high school and college.
“I never sexually assaulted anyone,” Kavanaugh told Fox News’ Martha MacCallum.
“I did not have sexual intercourse or anything close to sexual intercourse in high school or for many years after.”
MacCallum then pressed Kavanaugh on whether he was “a virgin” during the time that he allegedly assaulted two women.
“That’s correct,” he responded.
Kavanaugh would not say at exactly what point in college he lost his virginity but reiterated that it was “many years” after high school.
Earlier on Monday, Kavanaugh vowed to move forward with his confirmation hearings amid the sexual misconduct allegations.
