BSNL is known for its Special Tariff Voucher plans for different circles across the country which have now come up with two STVs for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana circles. The STVs known as BSNL Ananth and Ananth Plus will allow users to benefit from unlimited voice calling. The BSNL Ananth and Ananth Plus are priced at Rs.105 and Rs.328 respectively, giving out benefits in the form of unlimited local, STD and roaming voice calls with a reported validity of 90 days.
However, there are chances these plans may have a different validity altogether, considering the tariff for the same plans elsewhere has notable price differences. In many circles, prices for the BSNL Ananth and Ananth Plus are at Rs.99 and Rs 319, however, the benefits of unlimited voice calls will remain the same.
BSNL Launches STV 171 Prepaid Recharge Plan: Offers 2GB Daily Data, Unlimited Calling for 30 Days
For now, as per the information collected, the BSNL Ananth Plus prepaid recharge plan will have a 90-day-validity. Users who recharge with this plan in the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana circles will be able to avail benefits such as unlimited voice calls ranging from locals calls, STD and roaming voice calls for the validity period stated. The State-run telecom operator has operations in 20 circles across India, with the Mumbai and Delhi circles excluded from the list, because those circles fall under the Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL).
As mentioned earlier, in some of the other circles where the BSNL Ananth Plus plan exists, the prices are below the said Rs 328. In some of these circles, the BSNL Ananth Plus can be availed for Rs.319, although, the only confusion so far is whether the benefits of free voice calls will be similar in all circles.
The next plan introduced by the state-run telecom operator to its Andhra Pradesh and Telangana circles is the BSNL Ananth. The Ananth plan is merely an entry-level plan, which would cost the users Rs. 105, but in some circles, the same is available for Rs.99 and is valid for 26 days. Apart from the difference in the price and the duration of the validity, there is not much difference between the BSNL Ananth and Ananth Plus, as both plans offer unlimited calling without any FUB limit.
BSNL Launches STV 1,999 Prepaid Recharge Plan: Offers 730GB Data, Unlimited Calling for 365 Days
BSNL and their STVs offerings have always been combo plans designed to help the users avail voice and data benefits from their prepaid recharges. But the BSNL Ananth and Ananth Plus are voice only plan, meaning there could be no room for Data availability as part of the plans.
Understandably with the With the BSNL Ananth and Ananth Plus BSNL are targetting those users who rely heavily on using their phone for voice calls and thus these dedicated plans for such people. With the two plans not considered anything other than only the Voice calls plan, BSNL has ensured there are specific data plans for users who might want to avail of the benefits. The Data Tsunami pack will be the answer for users’ questions for a dedicated data pack. The DataTsunami is available for Rs.98 and provides users with 1GB of data at Rs. 1.5 which is by far the lowest in the industry currently.
So the BSNL Ananth, Ananth Plus and Data Tsunami offer different packages, the first two for voice calls and the latter for Data. BSNL is hoping to touch upon their circles with attractive plans such as these and may introduce much more valuable STVs in the near future.
