The Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus, an as-yet-announced mid-range Huawei smartphone offers four-cameras, two on either side and other interesting features.
Huawei may be attempting to launch the same smartphone with two different names. We at MSP Gear have managed to capture two separate leaks about an as-yet-unannounced Huawei smartphone.
Serial tipster Evan Blass, who has a proven track record to outing several smartphones, tweeted about the as yet unannounced Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus. Interestingly, another report about a Huawei smartphone appears to have the exact same details about the specifications. We strongly believe Huawei intends to launch the smartphone with two different names. These devices could be headed to separate market.

According to the leak, the smartphone features 6.5-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with 1080 x 2340 pixel resolution. According to the leaked images, the smartphone display has a small notch at the top and slim bezels. It is quite likely the handset may have an impressive screen to body ratio.
The leak mentions the Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus will have Kirin 710, an octa-core processor from HiSilicon. The processor will have 4 cores clocked at 2.2GHz, the other four at 1.7GHz. The CPU architecture is common for offering performance on demand, and yet boost battery endurance with the energy efficient chips. The smartphone will launch in two memory configurations: 4GB RAM + 64GB internal memory, and 6GB RAM + 128GB internal memory.
[Image Credit: SlashLeaks] For imaging, the Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus will have a dual camera setup not just on the back, but the front as well. The leak mentions the rear camera will have 13MP + 2MP sensors. Interestingly, the front camera setup is slightly better at 16MP + 2MP.
The Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus will have a standard circular fingerprint scanner on the back of the device. A large 4,000mAh battery will power the Huawei smartphone. There’s no mention of any Fast Charging technology, but it is quite possible Huawei may embed one to charge the large battery. The smartphone measures 162.4×77.1×8.05 mm and weighs 173 grams. In other words, the Huawei handset isn’t small or lightweight.
The leak ends by mentioning the Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus will run on Android 8.1 Oreo. Huawei usually slaps a custom skin called EMUI on top the base Android operating system and this smartphone is no exception. According to the leak, the handset will EMUI 8.2 custom skin.
The yet to announced Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus smartphone appears to be a mid-range Android handset with some interesting features. The image clearly reveals the words “AI Camera”, for the smartphone with 4 cameras. This indicates the imaging department will significantly depend on Artificial Intelligence to tweak and improve the photos.
The 4-camera setup is rather new for the mid-range Android smartphone segment. Samsung’s Galaxy A7 sports three cameras on the back with a single camera on the front. The Huawei P20 Pro and the recently launched Oppo R17 Pro are the only other smartphones to boast of such an imaging prowess and have a higher price than these handsets.

Huawei is yet to officially announce Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus. Hence there’s no information about price or availability. But we at MSP Gear will certainly update our readers about any new information about the Huawei smartphone.
