A couple of weeks or so ago, Xiaomi has kick-started the roll-out of stable MIUI 10 Global ROMs to a few devices including the flagship Mi 8. Now, the Chinese firm is extending the much-coveted upgrade to a handful of budget devices in its arsenal. As a matter of rejoicing for the Redmi 6/6A, and Redmi 5 Plus (Global)/ Redmi Note 5 (India) users, the stable MIUI 10 has begun hitting these hit devices.
The confirmation arrived from the official twitter handle of the MIUI (@miuirom). It’s pertinent to mention that the Redmi 5 Plus and Note 5 did start receiving the update over-the-air some days ago indeed. It’s the Redmi 6 and 6A, the new budget devices which are getting it now, and that too within a month of their official global launch.
We’re able to get hold of the screenshot of the Redmi 6 MIUI 10 update. The update on Redmi 6 arrives in at around 260MB in size with. We hope a similar type of package might be hitting the Redmi 6A as well, given their close relations to each other.
