The shooting happened about 1:20 a.m.
KALAMAZOO, MI — A 23-year-old man died after being shot early Saturday in the 100 block of West Stockbridge Avenue, police said.
Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety officers responded to the location about 1:20 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15.
They found the 23-year-old unresponsive.
Rescuers attempted to resuscitate the man but were not successful and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not released the person’s name or other details of the shooting.
