The Senate Judiciary Committee will hold a public hearing for Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and the woman who accused him of sexual assault back in the 1980s next Monday.

According to The Hill, both Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford, the accuser, will be testifying publicly next Monday.
“Judge Kavanaugh looks forward to a hearing where he can clear his name of this false allegation. He stands ready to testify tomorrow if the Senate is ready to hear him,” the White House said in a statement.
“Never even had a little blemish on his record,” President Trump said of Kavanaugh on Monday afternoon, according to the White House press pool. (RELATED: Trump Breaks Silence On Kavanaugh)
In July, Christine Blasey Ford wrote a letter accusing Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her at a party when they were in high school, but the letter only became public knowledge recently. (RELATED: Kavanaugh Breaks Silence After Sexual Assault Allegation)
