Ahead of the V11 Pro India launch today, Vivo has launched the V11 and the V11i phones in Thailand.
Vivo is set to launch the V11 Pro in India today at 12 PM. Ahead of the V11 Pro India launch today, Vivo has launched the V11 and the V11i phones in Thailand. Both the V11 series of phones come with a lot of similar features like the waterdrop notch as seen on the Oppo F9 Pro, in-display fingerprint sensor, AI-based dual rear cameras, Android 8.1 Oreo and more. Either of the two phones will launch in India as the V11 Pro today. Most likely, it will be the V11. The V11 has been launched in two colours — Nebula and Starry Night.
In Thailand, the Vivo V11 has been launched at a price tag of THB 9,999, which roughly translates to Rs 21,800, while the Vivo V11i comes with a price of THB 13,999, which roughly translates to around Rs 30,600. In India, the upcoming V11 Pro is expected to be priced between Rs 20,000 to Rs 30,000 range. Vivo is yet to reveal the pricing and the availability details of the V11 Pro.
Let’s take a quick look at what the already launched Vivo V11 and the V11i have in stock to offer.
The V11 comes with a 6.41-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 1080x2340p resolution. The smartphone packs Oppo F9 Pro-like waterdrop notch on top of the display which fits the selfie camera on it. The upcoming V11 Pro is also expected to come with the same design as the V11. Under the hood, the V11 is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor clocked up to 2.2GHz. The phone has been launched in only one variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage which can expandable via microSD card.
On the software front, the V11 runs Funtouch OS 4.5 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. The phone comes with dual SIM support and 3,400mAh battery with 18W quick-charging support. On the camera front, the V11 sports a dual camera setup which consists of a primary sensor of 12-megapixel and secondary sensor of 5-megapixel, which is similar to that of the Vivo X21 and Vivo Nex S. On the front, the phone comes with a 25-megapixel sensor that comes with AI-based camera features.
The Vivo V11i comes with a smaller screen than the V11. The phone comes with a 6.3-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with 1080x2280p resolution and aspect ratio of 19:9. The phone is powered by MediaTek Helio P60 processor paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.
On the software front, the V11i runs Funtouch OS 4.5 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. The phone also comes with dual SIM support and packs a 3,315mAh battery along with 18W quick-charging support. On the camera front, the Vivo V11i comes with dual camera setup on the rear panel which consists of a 16-megapixel primary sensor and 5-megapixel secondary sensor. On the front, just as the Vivo V11, the V11i also sports a 25-megapixel sensor paired with AI-based features.
