Facebook’s all new Messenger 4 comes with simplified, easy to use features, highlighting the most used features by users
Facebook yesterday announced that it has now started rolling out the all new Messenger 4 globally. The latest update’s main aim is to make Messenger more simplified than ever, making the app easier to use. The prime focus will be on making the app more accessible by highlighting the features most used by users. You might remember Messenger including nine primary tabs earlier; only three of those, namely Chats, People and Discover remain in the new version. However, features by the other tabs haven’t been removed. The new version of Messenger will also allow users to personalise conversations on the app. With an update to chat customisations, called ‘Colour Gradients’, users can make several changes and customisations to their conversations in the way they want. Chat bubbles can now be customised using multiple colours, and users can use these colours to reflect their mood or the topic of the conversation. To help users get used to the new changes and not bombard them with so many changes all at once, Facebook has decided to roll out the updates in phases. To avoid confusion, new updates will be rolled out bit by bit over the coming weeks. On top of all this, Facebook has also assured that it’ll be bringing more new features to Messenger soon, including features like Dark Mode and a re-skinned interface.
