The iPad Pro will be announced on 30 October in New York City, and the new icon on iOS suggests that this is how the new iPad Pro will look like.
The new iPad Pro is expected to have no home button and no notch, which means that the Face ID will probably be available in the new iPad. Guilherme from 9to5mac also discovered that the Face ID will be able to unlock user’s face even in landscape mode, which is something unachievable so far in the iPhone models. It’ll also have thinner bezels with rounded display corners, instead of the sharp edges display corners in the current iPad Pro.
Aside from expecting a new Apple Pencil with more functions, many are also expecting a USB Type-C port instead of Lightning port, which seems rather unlikely. There are rumours that the iPad Pro will also follow the footsteps of the iPhones in terms of disposing the headphone jack, so prepare to be disappointed if you’re planning on plugging in earphones to the new iPad Pro.
With the launch event only a day away, it is undeniable that we’re anticipating for what Apple is bringing us whether it is the new iPad Pro, MacBooks, AirPods, Apple Pen or even the delayed wireless charger, the AirPower.
