Kid Rock visits White House, tells reporter they should be fired

Rock was on hand for signing of the act which seeks to regulate licensing terms for streaming music services.
WASHINGTON — Detroit native and music star Kid Rock visited the White House Thursday as several musicians were on hand to watch President Donald Trump sign the Music Modernization Act.
And it didn’t take long for Kid Rock to make headlines as he called for a reporter to be fired for asking him a question. As Rock headed into the West Wing, a reporter shouted a question at him about whether or not Trump should fire Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
« He should fire you, » Rock replied, according to Fox News.
Rock was on hand for signing of the act which seeks to regulate licensing terms for streaming music services.
A noted Trump supporter Rock hinted at a run for Senate last year during a string of concerts last year, but also hinted that the idea was only a joke. The 47-year-old Rock appeared at a fundraising event for Republican Senate candidate John James last night.
