With just days left to Google ‘s next-gen Pixel smartphones launch, their new colour variant has been leaked online. The latest renders suggest that the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL handsets could also come in “Sand” shade, apart from the rumoured Black and Clear White version. The handsets are expected to be unveiled on October 9th at an event in New York.
In the image (above), the new colour on the new Pixel devices seems more like pale pink, and their power button painted with a darker shade of Pink. Further, the rear panel on both the devices seems to come with the same two-tone finish and glass coating on top. It’s not confirmed yet, but rumours are that the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL could come with wireless charging.
The design of the smartphones is in line with the previous leaks. While the Pixel 3 can be seen with a regular 18:9 display, the 3 XL is reported to come with the notched-screen. The handsets are tipped to feature dual front cameras and a single camera on the rear along with a fingerprint sensor.
As for the specifications, the phones are rumoured to come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB non-expandable storage. In optics, the flagships are said to feature a pair of 8-megapixel shooters on the front and a 12-megapixel unit on the rear with LED flash. As for the display, the Pixel 3 is expected to sport a 5.5-inch QHD+ panel, while the Pixel 3 XL is said to feature a bigger 6.2-inch screen with the same resolution.
That’s all we know so far. However, since the launch is around the corner we don’t have to wait for long to know the exact details, including the price and availability, of Pixel 3 and 3 XL.
