We have seen a slew of phone launches that happened in this month of October, but that doesn’t mean that the coming month of November would be quiet. Smartphone makers are picking pace when it comes to updating their products, which means we have quite a few launches lined up for the next month. If you are wondering which are those devices, then here’s what we know so far are the smartphones worth watching out for.
The Mate 20 Pro was launched in London a couple of weeks back, and this device is all set to launch in India. The Mate 20 Pro comes fitted with a 6.39-inch QHD+ OLED display with an aspect ratio of 19:5:9. Powering the device is the brand’s latest flagship HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC coupled with 6GB / 8GB of RAM. The triple rear camera setup of the Huawei smartphone includes a 40-megapixel primary lens, 20-megapixel wide angle shooter, and an 8-megapixel telephoto sensor. Backing the device is a generous 4,200mAh battery, which can even wirelessly charge other phones.

OnePlus is slowly becoming the defacto choice for people looking to buy an affordable Android smartphone. So it’s not a surprise to see the brand grabbing the top spot in the Indian phone industry in the past few quarters. The upcoming OnePlus 6T is expected to ditch the 3.5mm headphone socket in favour of a USB Type-C. That apart the device is also expected to feature an in-screen fingerprint sensor. As far as hardware is concerned, the 6T is expected to be same as its predecessor, with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, up to 8GB RAM, and dual rear cameras. However, rumours suggest that the handset will come with a bigger battery.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 2018 is yet another phone that promises to take the camera game to the next level. The device comes equipped with quad cameras on the rear, including a 24-megapixel main shooter, 10-megapixel telephoto snapper, 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. The A9 is powered by the Snapdragon 660 SoC and will be offered with a choice between 6GB / 8GB of RAM. At the fascia, the device offers a 6.3-inch FHD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:5:9.
The Note 5 Pro has reigned the mid-range segment in India for a while now. And as per rumours, Xiaomi is planning to continue that legacy with the Redmi Note 6 Pro. The handset is widely rumoured to launch in November and is said to come with an updated hardware. The handset comes equipped with a 6.26-inch FHD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 636 SoC and RAM options include 3GB, 4GB and 6GB. For imagery, the Note 6 Pro features dual cameras with 12MP shooter and a 5MP depth sensor and the front-facing 20-megapixel snapper.

The Nokia 7.1 comes fitted with a 5.84-inch FHD display that supports HDR10 standard to offer immersive visuals. Under the hood, the phone is serviced by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC paired with 3GB / 4GB of RAM. As with other Nokia smartphones, the 7.1 comes with stock Android Oreo with the promise of regular security patches as well as major updates. The 7.1 sports ZEISS-certified dual rear cameras and an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.

After separating from OPPO, Realme seems to be on a roll. The company has recently announced that it will be the first smartphone manufacturer to launch a device powered by newly-launched MediaTek Helio P70 chip. The Helio P70 SoC features an advanced AI engine and comes with better imaging features. The processor is also said to deliver improved performance. At this point in time however, the Realme hasn’t divulged any more details about its forthcoming offering.
