Tracking the Tropics: Oscar forms, could become a hurricane

Subtropical Storm Oscar formed Saturday morning in the Atlantic.
Thankfully the track of Oscar keeps it away from land in the coming days. The storm is located well northeast of Puerto Rico and well southeast of Bermuda in the open ocean. Oscar will be steered west until Monday when the storm system currently impacting the U. S. East Coast blocks its progress. Strong jet stream winds will grab hold of the storm and send it rapidly northeast away from land by Tuesday or Wednesday.
